I am 22 years old and i currently attend Nassau Community College in Long Island. I am athletic, and love to draw and write in my spare time. The World Youth Parliament to me is like a mini United Nations. It is an organization that is great at understanding the world’s issues and seeing how we can solve it. I experienced this in 2017, when I attended my first international plenary session in Beijing, China. It was amazing meeting people from different countries that had the same views as me. It was a good way to unite all of us in one location. It gave us an oppurtunity to know what everyone thought about forgiveness. The best part of the session was when everyone signed the manifesto on forgiveness, showing that all who attended were committed to follow the journey of forgiveness. My vision for WYP Hempstead is to keep the spirits up for those in the group, and to prepare everyone for the next international plenary gathering and beyond.

I grew up in Long Island, New York. I am currently a student at York College, enrolled in a bachelor's program for social work. I have an associates degree in liberal arts with a minor in criminal justice. Some things that I like to do is play soccer and read about court cases. The World Youth Parliament for me is a place where we come together to dialogue and reflect on critical issues about our existence. It is based on a personal commitment lived through our personal and social coexistence, while sharing the ideals and working on the mission of restoring humanity. My vision for WYP Hempstead is for it to be a stable and permanent group at Our Lady of Loretto Church. If possible, to help expand the parliament in other parishes or at least to incorporate it as a diocesan group in Rockville Centre.
