Fernando Rielo, Our Founder
Fernando Rielo Pardal (born in Madrid, Spain on August 28, 1923 and died in New York, US on December 6, 2004), founder of the Institute Id of Christ the Redeemer, Women and Men Idente Missionaries, has been considered a person of profound spiritual life in addition to being an extraordinary poet and thinker. He left to all of humanity a great humanistic and spiritual legacy which includes his own system of thought, inspired in the Gospel, on which the principles of Idente Youth are founded.
Since his youth, he understood that the modern world, despite its advances, raised and will continue to raise serious difficulties for the integral development of young persons subjected to the pressures and demands of life. He perceived then that the solution is in the education of the youth and, for this purpose, he formulated fundamental pedagogical guidelines for an “education in ecstasy” which considers the young person’s hunger for truth and generosity. Thus, he offered his life for the formation of youth that restores humanity.
